The National Office for the Information Economy (NOIE) in Australia commissioned Ernst & Young to report on small businesses using e-commerce. The report is called Advancing with E-Commerce. This shows the efficiency savings, the additional revenues and the key non-financial benefits that companies surveyed obtained from E-Commerce.
In an important keynote address, former Nortel Networks Corp. President and CEO John Roth maintained that while most corporations on the Web today view it as an adjunct to their existing business, in 2000 companies will "start moving all their business processes to the Web as the core of their business." This succinct observation is accurate and it will impact your organization.
